holiday cheer

 Jon and I are off to PA to spend xMas with his family. I'll be back in the studio on Monday and Tuesday and then off again for New Year's Eve. If I haven't returned your calls/emails i'll get back to you asap on Monday. This week got super busy:)

Amy stopped by today to drop off some soup and cookies for Jon and I. It was such a nice holiday gesture! I was so excited I went and shot 100 images, ah! It's not often that Jon and I get a home cooked meal, so from us to you Amy, thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

We had a beautiful snowfall last Friday that set the backdrop for my shoot with Martha and her family on Saturday. It was chilly, but we had hot cocoa and lots of laughs to keep us warm! Merry Christmas to you and your family Martha!

Jaye is a beautiful little girl that has brought her mom and dad so much joy. I couldn't get over her eyelashes, she's already a diva in the making. Sooooo cute!

kevin + cameron

I LOVE these kids- so this blog is going to be a long one! In a world inundated by video games and tech gadgets, it was so refreshing to meet Kevin and Cameron. Extreme skiers at just 15 and 10 years old, weekends there's only one place to find them - skiing and racing at Snowridge. This isn't the first time Kevin and Cameron have been featured on a blog. You can check them out here. Kevin caught the eye of another blogger last spring as they crossed paths hiking up some extreme terrain at A-Basin. The last time I was at A-Basin I sat in the parking lot looking at the mountain and said...I don't think I can ski that! To quote the article "Kevin has a pace maker, has spent months in hospitals, almost died, and has only a three chambered heart, which means he suffers from oxygen starvation."  He and his brother are such an inspiration, they really touched my heart and were sooo much fun to photograph! Here's a few of my favs and some great outtakes.
